Randy Harris has been a management consultant since 2004 and has completed over 125 consulting contracts in a broad range of industry sectors including Technology, Oil and Gas, Forestry, Manufacturing, Financial, Non Profit, Service and others. Client engagements have ranged in size from start-ups to large corporate with contract deliverables centered to finance, strategy and operations and the optimization of rapid growth and under-performing businesses.

Mr. Harris provides consulting independently and in partnership with Timmins based Petersen Consulting and Quantum Management Group, a strategy and operations consultancy, co-founded by Messrs. Harris and Petersen.

From 2000-2004 Mr. Harris was employed as a senior executive in the Technology sector. As Chief Operating Officer, and subsequently President, of Systech Retail Systems Inc. he planned and executed a multi-phase restructuring program reducing infrastructure/plant costs by over CDN$70 million. Mr. Harris was a Board Director and Chair of the Audit Committee between 2004 and 2005.

Prior to Systech Mr. Harris was employed by CIBC for over 20 years. His banking career included management level assignments in Branch operations, Corporate Audit, Commercial Lending, Human Resources, Risk Management and Knowledge Based business where, as Director, he provided specialized consulting and innovative financing structures & products to high growth technology companies.

Mr. Harris is originally from North Bay and now resides in Ottawa.   Between 2005 and 2008 he was a Board Director – York Technology Association and Chair of several committees. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers, Certified Management Consultant and holds an MBA from Queens University, Kingston Ontario.
